Booking Transportation for Your Next Concert
Everyone knows the struggle of attending a concert that is far away from home. Usually, someone has to bite the bullet and be the designated driver to make sure everyone gets home safe. Not only does this driver lose the ability to completely enjoy themselves, but they will most likely have to drive through lots of traffic. Some people prefer to book a hotel nearby, but this can be costly, and to be honest, nothing is as good as your own bed. Here are some of the hottest concerts coming to town over the next few months and how The Perfect Limo Corona can get you and your party to and from them.
Hollywood Bowl: Avoid Stacked Parking
I was fortunate enough to attend John Williams live in concert at the Hollywood Bowl two summers ago. Fortunately, I did not have to drive, and I got to the concert in a hired transportation service’s bus. Many of us were thankful that we had a transportation service because not only was the traffic getting their horrendous, but parking at Hollywood Bowl is stacked. This means that you can’t get out until the people around you have started exiting the premises after the concert ends. It took us probably thirty to forty minutes to get on our way, but at least we ourselves did not have to drive in through the chaos. There are many fun concerts coming to Hollywood Bowl this summer, from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire live in concert on July 5th, to Jaws live in concert from July 20th to the 21st. And if that doesn’t fit your fancy, Seal will be there on July 18th and Michael McDonald and company from July 13th to the 14th. Whatever your musical tastes are, there is something for everyone. Honda Center: Enjoy Yourself to the Fullest
With the Ducks season over, Honda Center is a great venue to see a concert. Although that traffic isn’t nearly as bad as getting to LA, if you are coming from South County, there is always traffic on the I-5 northbound around Tustin Ranch Rd. due to the I-55 interchange. Furthermore, Angels stadium is not that far away, adding to the traffic congestion. Last time I attended the area, I left my car at home. By using a transportation service, it allowed me to explore everything that Anaheim has to offer. With a number of breweries in the area, and delicious food at the Packing District, avoid the drive and enjoy yourself. Some of the concerts that are coming to Honda Center include P!nk this Friday, May 25th, OC Funk Fest August 4th, Chris Stapleton on August 17th, and Sam Smith August 25th. These are just a few of the events that will be coming into town. For a more comprehensive list, you can view the schedule here.
Walt Disney Concert Hall: Skip the LA Traffic.
If you are a classical music lover, then attending a concert with Gustavo Dudamel conducting the LA Phil will be a night you will never forget. The only problem is the location—smack dab in the middle of downtown LA. These days, there is never a good time to get into LA. Traffic is always bad, and it is one of the major deterrents why I chose not to go further than
Anaheim for sporting and concert events. But for those who are determined to the see Dudamel live in concert, there are a few concerts in
May and June to do so.
